Kindergarten @ SCCS

“Our kids are at school six hours a day, five days a week. If they can learn about history, science, math, football and basketball from a biblical perspective, that matches what they get at home and church, that’s a big win for us. The cost of tuition is worth it to us.  The teachers at SCCS partner with and walk alongside us. They truly care about our children’s character. To us that is priceless.” – Ken Kistler, Crossroads Community Church Children’s Pastor

SCCS offers a full and half-day Kindergarten program to fit your family’s needs. With small, intimate class sizes, your child will receive personal, individual attention from our nurturing.

At SCCS, Kindergarten students benefit from a strong academic program that includes Bible, Language Arts and Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Not only is the Bible taught for what it is – the inerrant, inspired Word of God – but it forms the foundation for all other subjects. This biblical worldview, the basis of their moral development, can be seen as we work in partnership with each family, shepherding hearts, disciplining, guiding, and reinforcing what children are learning at home and at church, teaching what is true in Scripture.

What is so different about SCCS?

At SCCS we do community well. Students who have attended SCCS from Kindergarten to twelfth grade, “SCCS Lifers” have expressed that they love the unified culture and being part of a big family every single day.

Walking around the SCCS campus it is not uncommon to see Kindergarteners high-fiving high school students. Mentor and discipleship relationships are developed every day through SCCS’ reading buddy program or high school students helping to coach Pee Wee or Elementary sports.

Additionally, this discipleship relationship can be seen modeled through the teachers and students. Students’ time and again have expressed the difference the teachers at SCCS have made in their lives. “SCCS teachers want us to succeed,” said an ‘SCCS Lifer.’ “They genuinely care about our well-being, academically, and spiritually. The teachers have always been there for me and will be even when I graduate.”

Every year SCCS students are accepted to the nation’s top universities. Their options are endless. At SCCS, students have received the spiritual foundation they need to thrive and are well prepared to handle the rigors of higher education as well as life.
