Kamron Carroll

Kamron graduated from SCCS in 2014 and went to Malone University to play basketball and pursue a degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations.
Kamron transferred into SCCS during his second semester, junior year from Bishop Alemany. “When I first came to SCCS, I noticed a big difference,” shared Kamron. “The class size was small and the teachers wouldn’t let me hide in the back. The teachers and coaches drew me out and would hold me accountable and look out for me academically and spiritually. They would always say, ‘I’m praying for you Kam.’ I realized I needed this same depth of relationship with my teachers in college in order to thrive.”
Kamron just finished the season as a redshirt junior, playing basketball at Malone and has one more year before he graduates. “I plan on continuing playing at another university or becoming a coach’s assistant at a university,” shared Kamron.
“I appreciate the relationships I had with the teachers and coaches at SCCS,” shared Kamron. “Coach Mosley and I still talk at least once a week.”
During his spring break in February 2018, Kamron came back to SCV and visited our boys basketball team during half-time. “Mr. Mosley asked me to give some encouraging words to the players,” said Kamron. “I am grateful to encourage, lift up and help others just like those who have helped me along the way.”
