KD graduated from SCCS in 2009 and she attended The Master’s University, pursuing a degree in Communications.
With the exception of the first grade, KD attended SCCS from K-12. “I am confident SCCS played a crucial role in my academic, personal, social and spiritual growth,” shared KD. “I learned that a biblical foundation is crucial for life and it manifests in every area of life, from the classroom to the soccer field. My high school years played an integral part in preparing me for the transition into college. The Lord used my relationships with teachers and friends on campus to grow me spiritually. My soccer coach, Brandon Wolf prepared me athletically to play soccer in college and both him and his wife, Caitlin became friends and mentors that encouraged me to love Christ more.”
KD knew at an early age that she wanted to attend The Master’s University. “SCCS instilled in me the necessary study habits and prepared me for the rigors of college life. I am incredibly grateful.”
KD is currently the Business Development Manager at California Leasing & Management. Her focus is on growing the company through sales and developing the company through community involvement and relationship development. “Every day looks different for me, but I love the challenge of a changing industry and I enjoy meeting so many interesting people,” shared KD.
KD also began working part-time at SCCS February 2018 with the Marketing and Admissions teams.
KD is one of fifteen grandchildren of Pastor John MacArthur and has four siblings, all who have attended or are attending SCCS: Olivia (class of ‘11) currently teaching 5th grade at SCCS; Susannah (class of ‘14); Gracie (class of ‘16) and Tommy (currently a freshman at SCCS). “My senior year of high school my brother started kindergarten and for one year, all five of us were able to attend the same school,” shared KD. “SCCS feels like my second home.”
KD currently attends Grace Community Church and is on staff in Junior High Ministry.
