Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) of Santa Clarita Christian School is comprised of volunteer parents who desire to serve the faculty and students in a way that honors the Lord Jesus Christ.
PTF is made up of SCCS parents who are committed to the service of God through our service to the school. Annually, the PTF raises money to provide school-wide enhancements that yearly tuition does not cover. Fundraising is an integral and important part of our yearly revenue. The annual Jog-a-Thon is the official PTF fundraiser that we organize that funds the teacher luncheons, staff gifts, Thanksgiving Feast, Grandparent’s Day breakfast, Teacher Appreciation week, Year End Admin gifts, and PTF scholarships, to name a few. Any excess funds raised are considered by member vote to help with any campus needs that arise.
The PTF champions the SCCS community in many ways:
- Box Tops (funds go directly back to the teachers/classrooms)
- eScrip
- Social Events (Local food Businesses)
- Jog-a-Thon
- Amazon Smile
- Grocery Store Club Cards
Encouragement and support to classrooms through Room Moms/Dads:
- Grandparents’ Day
- Bounce House Day
- Thanksgiving Feast
- Student Development
- Kids with Character
- Senior Scholarship
- Spiritual Life Retreat and Nexus
The PTF meets monthly to discuss current school issues, organize upcoming activities, supervise volunteer helpers, etc. The PTF appreciates and welcomes any new parents who are willing to become a part of a wonderful support group for SCCS and the faculty/staff.
