High School Choir

For over 40 years, Santa Clarita Christian School (SCCS) has been a leading K-12 educational institution in the Santa Clarita Valley.  Our history of excellence extends from academics and athletics to the award-winning choir program.

The SCCS Concert Choir is a 50-member auditioned concert choir from Santa Clarita Christian School in Santa Clarita, California. The Choir is under the direction of Susi Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is the head of the music program at SCCS and directs the JH, HS and Elementary Honor Choir at SCCS. She also directs the Youth Choir at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California.

The SCCS Concert Choir performs sacred and secular music from every major period, while relating lessons and spiritual truths to people today. The SCCS Concert Choir performs throughout the year on and off campus. They have been selected to participate in Disneyland’s Candlelight Festival and have been the invited guest of City of Hope fundraisers, invited to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York and regularly sing at numerous churches throughout Southern California. They have toured Northern and Southern California, Seattle, New York City, Nashville, Colorado, Oahu, Australia and Ireland.
